Impamvu ku myaka 40 ubwonko bw’umuntu butangira gusaza

Ikigo gishinzwe serivisi z’ubuzima muri Amerika, National Institutes of Health, kigaragaza ko imikorere y’ubwonko bw’umuntu ndetse n’ingano yabwo bitangira kugabanuka ku kigero cya 5% buri nyuma y’imyaka 10, uhereye ku bafite imyaka 40 y’amavuko.

Iyo myaka 50 ni yo ifatwa nk’ikigereranyo cy’ihariye umubare munini w’aho ubwonko bwa benshi butangira gusaziraho bikagaragara, ariko Dr. Hakizimana avuga ko hari n’indwara zitandukanye zishobora kwibasira umuntu ubwonko bwe bukaba bwasaza mbere y’icyo gihe.

Ati ‘‘Habaho indwara zifata ubwonko zigatuma tuvuga ngo burasaza cyangwa uturemangingo tw’ibanze tw’ubwonko tugapfa. […] ziri mu moko menshi, ziterwa n’uburyo umuntu aremye. Ugasanga umuntu uburyo aremye biba bizagera ku myaka runaka bikaza. Hari izijya zifata n’abana bakiri bato.’’

Ati ‘‘Icyo abantu bashobora kuzikorera ni ukuzimenya hakiri kare, kubona ibimenyetso tukazimenya hakiri kare tugaha umuntu ubufasha, butuma zidakura vuba. Kuko inyinshi ntabwo tuzazibonera umuti uzivura burundu.

‘‘Ahubwo dushobora gutanga ubufasha butuma niba uturemangingo tw’ibanze twapfaga ku muvuduko wo hejuru, dupfa ku muvuduko wo hasi cyane. Hari izindi n’iyo zimaze kugera ku rwego rwo hejuru, tugira ibyo tubasha kuzikorera.’’

Muri ibyo bikorwa, usibye imiti harimo no gukangura ubwonko hifashishijwe uburyo bw’ikoranabuhanga buzwi nka ‘Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS)’, ahafatwa akuma kazwi nka ‘Neurostimulator’ kakinjizwa mu bwonko, kakabukangura ku gipimo runaka bitewe n’cyashyizweho n’uri gukora ubuvuzi.

Ibyo biri mu bituma umuntu n’iyo yaba afite uburwayi budakira bushobora kumutera gusaza k’ubwonko, bimufasha kuba butamugwa nabi cyane ngo ubwonko bwe bukomeze gusaza ku kigero cyo hejuru.
